  2. Microsoft Silverlight For Mac Hoopla Issues Download
  3. Microsoft Silverlight For Mac Hoopla Issues Ipad

I have installed Silverlight, the very newest, most up-to-date version, roughly 11 times. I have uninstalled Silverlight and then reinstalled it, and have done this three times. This is really irritating.

Microsoft Silverlight For Mac Not Working

When you use Google Chrome (version 42.0 or later) to access a website that runs Microsoft Silverlight, you see that some content is missing or that the Install Microsoft Silverlight badge is displayed. When you reinstall Silverlight, the issue still occurs.
Note This issue does not occur in Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Apple Safari. These browsers still support Silverlight content.

  1. Once you have emptied your Trash, Microsoft Silverlight uninstallation is complete. To install the latest version of the Silverlight plug-in: Sign in to Netflix.com and press play on any title. Follow the prompts to download and install Silverlight on your Mac.
  2. A 'Silverlight' preferences menu should appear, left-click on this item. A window will open titled 'Microsoft Silverlight Configuration' on a PC. If you are using a Mac, this window will be titled 'Microsoft Silverlight Preferences.' Select the 'Application Storage' tab.
  3. The version of 'Silverlight' on your computer has known critical security issues. Only websites set to 'Allow Always' are allowed to run this plug-in. To protect your system, use of this plug-in is ow blocked for all other websites. When visiting other websites: ALLOW. I would like to uninstall Microsoft Silverlight and get a properly working one.

Cause

This issue occurs because these versions of Chrome block Netscape Plugin API (NPAPI) plugins from being displayed in the browser. Silverlight is an NPAPI plugin.
